“And the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy or Musical goes to… LeBron James!”
Look, I don’t think this scenario is going to happen either. HOWEVER! LeBron James is so good in Trainwreck that it’s not entirely out of the picture. (Even though it realistically is out of the picture. Still, LeBron can be my personal MVP and my Best Supporting Actor.)
Trainwreck is the movie that proves to the world that Amy Schumer is a superstar. I’ve been a fan of hers for a while now; Inside Amy Schumer is one of the smartest and funniest shows on TV, and her stand-up is just as good. It’s been clear that she’s been destined for greatness for a while now, and Trainwreck is the vehicle (pun… not intended?) to bring her to the masses.
There’s a lot to love about this movie no matter who you are.
- Looking for a love story? Check!
- Looking for a hilarious movie? Check!
- Looking for all your favorite (and Amy’s favorite) comedians in small roles? Check!
- Looking for something else? I don’t know… check?
Trainwreck brought Amy Schumer and Judd Apatow together for hopefully the first in a long line of pairings. It might be my favorite Apatow movie yet, but I’m also biased: I think Amy Schumer is just the best. If you’re looking for a great movie, look no further; Trainwreck is worth your time.
